Start a Security Scan

Select your target domain and cybersecurity assessment profile. Probes run non-destructively in the cloud.

How a scan is chosen and what it covers

Scan is the module that runs an assessment. Pick a saved website, then pick a profile. Quick checks reachability, headers, cookies, TLS, and email authentication. Standard adds in-scope page discovery. Recon maps hosts and URLs. Security and API go deeper on the application, and Full combines those stages.

The profile controls scope. A Quick run will not perform the active application checks included in Security or API. Out-of-scope and third-party URLs are not the target. Test only a site you own or are allowed to test.

Progress stays on this page until the run finishes or you cancel it. The useful record is the completed scan: open it from history, review findings, and compare a later run after the fix is deployed.

How to use this page

  1. Save the hostname in Domains if it is not already listed.
  2. Select that hostname and the profile that matches the question you need answered.
  3. Start the run and leave it in progress, or cancel it if the target was wrong.
  4. Open the completed result before treating any row as a fix ticket.

What this page gives you

  • One completed assessment for the selected hostname
  • Coverage limited to the profile you chose
  • A result that can be reopened, exported, or compared
